Not everything worth doing feels good

Many things worth doing aren’t always pleasant. Some are downright painful.

But, when we learn to relate to our pain in a way where we aren’t identified AS our pain, transcending it is inevitable. We learn to be in it, but not of it.

We can find grace, even a playful levity in our suffering. And because of this, when the tides of our anguish recede, standing on the shores of our newfound wisdom, our newfound peace is all the more triumphant.
